If you are a student, you probably have been approached or called by a military recruiter. Maybe you see recruiters walking around your school or at a table in your cafeteria.
Even if military recruiters are in your school, that doesn't mean they have the right to information about you. You can tell the school and the government that you do not want the military to have access to your name, address, phone number, or any other information about you. You can "opt out." It's easy to do, and it's your right.
